Clay-ghan Family Sculptures

This page is for the Clay Hound family sculptures, created by Shelly Firsich.  Each statue is sculpted from clay, baked, then detail is added with a tiny dremel tool. The face is hand painted and then the hair is added.  Each statue averages about 22-24 hours from start to finish.  The hair is actual Afghan Hound hair sent to me from my Fairy God Mother in Australia.  Yes, I said Fairy God Mother :-)

After each sculpture is finished, he/she is named.  They come with their own dog tag and certificate of authenticity. 

Needless to say, these are very limited editions.
